My back can't take it anymore! We are both walking around hunched over like we broke out of the geriatric ward on a weekend pass. Our main conversations are about who is in more pain than the other. Mountain Man has been testing the lake ice everyday. When I say 'testing', I mean he walks out takes a couple wacks at it with an axe, and then drives his quad 1km across the stuff I won't even walk on! That's the difference between this Wilderness Woman and her Mountain Man. The edge of the lake has thawed and It's almost impossible to get a quad up onto the frozen shelf that's left there. I now have a 3 layer blister. Which meant I was raking, yet again. Of course I wear gloves and try and hold the rake in several different positions. Happy Sunday! I know it's Sunday because it's our weekly traditional Bacon & Egg breakfast for Mountain Man and his BFF's - his sidekicks/fur kids, Storm & Forrest.
